RoHS 3 Declaration Statement
This document certifies that Darrah Electric Company (DEC) has taken necessary steps to comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive (EU) 2015/863.
As per the directive, the maximum concentration values of the restricted substances by weight in homogenous materials are:
Cadmium(Cd): 0.01%
Mercury: 0.1%
Lead(Pb) : 0.1%
Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) : 0.1%
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB): 0.1 %;
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE): 0.1 %
Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): 0.1% (added in 2015);
Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): 0.1% (added in 2015);
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): 0.1% (added in 2015);
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): 0.1% (added in 2015).
Besides material declarations and written assurances from our suppliers on purchased parts, we also guarantee the raw parts that DEC make in-house and which are used on our RoHS products do not contain any of the restricted substances above the limits set by ROHS directive (EU) 2015/863.
DEC has taken all reasonable steps to maintain relevant documentation on in-house parts regarding the absence of restricted substances.
Certain circumstances require products contain one or more of the restricted substances above the official maximum concentration value, but is still compliant because it falls under one of the exemptions.
